2 Injured In Head-On Crash In Wright County

MONTICELLO -- Two people are hurt after a head-on crash in Wright County early Sunday morning.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the incident happened shortly after 1:00 a.m. when an SUV driven by 17-year-old Matthew Stone of Becker was traveling north on Highway 25.

Reports say Stone ran a red light and crashed head-on into a minivan driven by 34-year-old Melissa Mohrman of Monticello, who was making a left turn onto Oakwood Drive.

Stone and Mohrman were not hurt in the incident.

Stone's passenger, 16-year-old Hannah Lawrence of Becker and Mohrman's passenger, 43-year-old Michael Mohrman of Monticello, each suffered non life-threatening injuries from the crash.
