2 Hurt In Crash On Highway 23

FORESTON -- Two people are hurt after a broadside crash on Highway 23 in Mille Lacs County Saturday night.

The Mille Lacs County Sheriff's Office says the incident happened just before 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Highway 23 and 1st Street North in Foreston.

Reports say a car driven by 32-year-old Bobbie Iler of Pierz attempted to cross Highway 23 on 1st Street North when he was broadsided by a pickup truck.

Iler and his passenger, 32-year-old Saunya Weber of Crosby, suffered non-life threatening injuries in the crash.

The driver of the truck, 24-year-old Thomas Yurczyk of St. Cloud, was not hurt in the incident.
