Woman’s Body Found Near Trash Bin in Fridley

FRIDLEY, Minn. (AP) - Anoka County authorities are investigating after a woman's body was found near a trash container in Fridley.

The sheriff's office says a garbage truck driver discovered the body and called police at about 10:30 a.m. Monday. Officers soon arrived and confirmed the death.

Authorities say there are no obvious signs of injury. The Anoka County medical examiner's office also is investigating and will issue a cause of death.
