LONG PRAIRIE TOWNSHIP -- Two men were taken into custody for allegedly stealing an ATV yesterday (Sunday) in Todd County.

The incident happened just before 1:30 p.m. along County Road 5 in Long Prairie Township.

Deputies say a suspect was driving a vehicle that was pulling the ATV.

The suspect then fled on foot after driving into a corn field and getting stuck.

Deputies lost the suspect but was later found after a citizen called the Sheriff's Office reporting a person with multiple cuts, bruises and missing clothing.

43-year-old Bryce Boyd, of Randall, and 44-year-old Norman Gilpin, of Browerville, was taken into custody in connection with the theft.

The ATV was taken from Petron Potato Farms.
