PINE CITY -- Two men were hurt in a  a three car crash in Pine City Monday afternoon.

The state patrol says the crash happened shortly before 4:45 p.m. on County Road 61 in Pine County.

Sixty-three-year-old Cheryl Weller of Belegrade was driving eastbound on County Road 61 near the southbound Interstate 35 ramp when she rear-ended a car driven by 51-year-old Stuart Maurer of Mora. Muarer was pushed into the westbound lanes and stuck another car driven by 93-year-old Warren Welbourn of Brook Park.

All three cars came to stop blocking both lanes of traffic.

Maurer and Welbourn were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Weller was not hurt in the crash.
