UNDATED - High winds, large hail, and the threat of tornadoes were all in a line of strong storms that moved across central Minnesota Monday. Parts of Stearns, Morrison and Todd Counties were all under tornado and thunderstorm warnings. Parts of Benton and Sherburne counties had severe thunderstorm warnings issued.

It all started late in the afternoon with the first thunderstorm warning being issued in Todd County at 4:50 p.m. Doppler radar indicated some rotation in the clouds and that's why the National Weather Service issued several tornado warnings. There were no immediate reports of any tornadoes actually spotted.

The severe thunderstorm warnings were issued because of strong wind gusts up to 80 miles an hour along with hail up to two inches in diameter.

The last of the storm warnings was allowed to expire at 8:30 p.m.
