This weekend is full of great music from country star Reba McEntire, rock tribute band Hairball, and the fun that is Deuces Wild Dueling Pianos. If you collect sports cards this also the weekend for you, check out the Sports Cards and Collectibles Show. If you are looking for some other art however there is an art fair tonight.

    Hairball

    Sherburne County Fair - Elk River

    Hairball will be performing at the Sherburne County Fair on Friday. All ages are welcome to this show. Bobby, Joe, Steve, Freaky, Blake, and Happy put on a great show of some of the biggest arena acts including Van Halen, KISS, Motely Crue, Queen, Journey, and Aerosmith. This is Hairball's 15th year of performing, and it shows no sign of stopping. Their showmanship is second to none with the lights, sound, video screens, smoke, fire, bombs, confetti, and more. Their stage transforms through out the night giving the audience a completely new rock experience. Gates open at 7:00 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for this show are $25 to get on the floor and $20 for general admission. You can still get your ticket to this show, and it will be available at will call in the fair office.

    Deuces Wild Dueling Pianos

    Darnall Amphitheater - College of Saint Benedict - St. Joseph

    Tonight is the final performance in the Sunset Stages at Saint Ben's series. The Deuces Wild Dueling Pianos performance is full of laughter and audience interaction. David Eichholz and Ted Manderfeld have been performing together for over 12 years in over 1,500 shows. You may recognize Ted's name from the popular "Rock n Roll Xmas Spectacular" show. The show at Darnall Amphitheater will start at 7:30 p.m. Come and get ready to sing, clap, and laugh along with Deuces Wild Dueling Piano. This event is free.

    Sports Card & Collectibles Show

    If you are a card collector then this is the show for you. At the Sports Card & Collectibles Show there will be cards, autographs, bobbleheads, and much more sports memorabilia. Local dealers will be selling, trading, and buying all of these items both vintage and new. The show will be from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. There is still limited vendor space available. If you plan on going to this show it is free admission and there will be free gifts for kids. Past shows have featured rookie cards of Satchel Paige and Jackie Robinson along with several other autographed cards and pictures. There are many other shows coming up this year on August 22nd, September 19th, October 10th, November 14th, and December 12th.

    Reba McEntire

    Amphitheater - Grand Casino Hinckley

    Reba McEntire will be in concert this Saturday in Hinckley. There are some tickets still available for this weekend's concert. Reba has sold over 56 million albums and is a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame. She has won 15 American Music Awards, 13 ACM Awards, 9 People's Choice Awards, 7 CMA Awards, 2 GRAMMY Awards, and was awarded an ACM Career Achievement Honor. She is also one of four people to receive the National Artistic Achievement Award from the United States Congress. She currently has shows in Las Vegas with Brooks & Dunn at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. CLICK HERE to learn more.

    This weekend's concert will be at 8:00 p.m on Saturday. Ticket prices range from $30 to $85.

    Art Fair in the Gardens

    Artists from around the state will be displaying their work at the 9th Annual Art Fair in the Gardens today. There will be more than 45 artists at Munsinger Clemens Gardens with artwork available for purchase. You can also enjoy drinks, food, and music as you stroll through both of the gardens. Cristina Seaborn will be playing on stage in the lower gardens from 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Carlos Quinche will be playing native flutes in the upper gardens form 11:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Paul Imholte will be strolling in the lower gardens from 2:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m, and finally Cathie English will be on stage in the lower gardens from 4:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. This free event runs from 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
