The Weekender: Many Bashes to Welcome 2016!

You can celebrate the end of 2015 with Dave and Ted from Deuces Wild as they perform a night of music and comedy at the Paramount Theatre in downtown St. Cloud. For three years, Deuces Wild dueling pianos has entertained near sell-out crowds in St. Cloud. Deuces Wild New Year's will showcase their musical mastery and sharp wit while interacting with the crowd, sure to have you smiling as the 2016 is ushered in. Two shows are scheduled for New Year's Eve with tickets starting at $22.

A night of music, dancing, and fun will be held at the Pioneer Place on New Year's Eve featuring Collective Unconscious. The New Year's Eve Bash and Dance Party will have great music from the popular group of local musicians and free champagne at midnight to bring in the new year. Tickets for this are available in advance for $24 and $27 at the door.

Get a rocking start to the new year at Medina Entertainment Center with Hairball at their New Year's Eve party. Hairball is one of the most popular hair metal tribute bands in the Midwest performing favorites from hit bands like KISS, Poison, and Guns N' Roses. Tickets for this 21+ show are available for about $36 in advance, $42 at the door.

Celebrate the first day of 2016 at Pioneer Place with the Chris Hawkey Band for a New Year's Day show. Hawkey, host of KFAN's Power Trip Morning Show, says he's living out a lifetime dream whenever he hits the stage and it shows in his highly energetic, highly entertaining performances. With a musical style similar to John Mellencamp, Hawkey has become a St. Cloud area favorite with multiple yearly performances. Tickets for this one-night show at $22 in advance, $25 at the door.

Join one of Minnesota's favorite comedians, Louie Anderson, at the Paramount Theatre in downtown St. Cloud this weekend. Anderson, a Minneapolis native, draws on his experiences of growing up with 10 siblings in Minnesota in his act. For over 30 years, Anderson has kept audiences laughing with tours, appearances in comedy movies, and hosting Family Feud. Tickets for this family-friendly comedy show start at $22.
