Teen Video Contest Teaches About The Dangers Of Distracted Driving
Minnesota teens in grades 9–12 are encouraged to create and produce a 30-second TV spot that shows the dangers of driving and using the phone. The contest is sponsored by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety (DPS) and AAA Minnesota/Iowa. It's called, Don’t Drive Distracted, Teens! TV Commercial Challenge.
Last year's runner up was a video created by Austin Turner and Lydia Dullinger from Sartell High School called "You Can Wait 5 Minutes." Check it out.
