Teen Killed In Collision Between Bus, Vehicle
LAKE CITY (AP) -- A teenager was killed in a collision between a bus and vehicle in southeastern Minnesota.
The State Patrol says 19-year-old Aleeza Saande of Hastings died in the crash on Highway 61 south of Lake City Sunday afternoon.
Authorities said Saande was southbound on Highway 61 and lost control, sliding sideways into the path of the bus which was carrying 27 passengers and the driver. Two passengers on the bus were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The State Patrol says a third vehicle was also involved, but no additional information was provided.
