ANDOVER, Minn. (AP) - The Anoka County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding a suspect who robbed a 61-year-old man at an ATM after spraying him in the face with a chemical irritant.

The robbery happened just after 4 p.m. Saturday at the U.S. Bank in Andover.

The victim told deputies that he was using the ATM when a suspect entered, sprayed him in the face with an aerosol irritant and demanded his money.

The man said he fought back briefly, then gave up the money after again being sprayed in the face.

Reports say the suspect is described as a white man in his late teens or early 20s with a medium build, wearing a navy blue Nike hoodie with a light blue hood and sleeves.
