Suspect Arrested in Fatal Apartment Stabbing in St. Paul

ST. PAUL -- Police have made an arrest in a fatal stabbing in St. Paul's Ramsey Hill neighborhood.

Officers were called to an apartment about 2 a.m. Friday and found a man who had been stabbed. Police say 28-year-old Gerald Joseph Montates, of St. Paul, was taken to Regions Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A 25-year-old St. Paul man was later arrested on suspicion of murder.
