Stearns History Museum Chief Executive Officer Retires, Interim Leader Selected

ST. CLOUD -- After leading the organization for three years the Stearns History Museum Chief Executive Officer, Jim Davis has retired.

Jon McGee is the Board of Directors Chair for the history museum. He says Davis was more than just a leader for the organization but also a friend.

"The Board of Directors is grateful for the leadership Mr. Davis has provided to the Stearns History Museum - not only as a chief executive officer - but over a much longer time as a director, patron and a friend to the museum."

Chief Operating Officer Ann Meline will take over Davis' position while the board of directors search for a permanent replacement.

Meline has been working with the Stearns History Museum since 1985. She has a degree in non-profit administration from Metropolitan State University.  Meline says her favorite part about working in the museum is meeting the remarkable people who live in Stearns County.

The Stearns History Museum hours of operation will remain the same as it transitions to new leadership.
