Stearns County Towns Under Winter Parking Restrictions

STEARNS COUNTY -- We told you about winter parking restrictions for the St. Cloud area cities, but you may not know there are winter parking rules for some outlying Stearns County towns too.

For example, in St. Stephen, Holdingford and New Munich there is no parking on city streets from November 1st to April 1st.

Freeport and Rockville have ordinances restricting parking based on snowfall amounts. You can learn more about those rules by calling City Hall or checking their websites.

Stearns County authorities will issue warnings during November unless a plowable snowfall occurs then either tickets or towing will be in effect. After November, citations will be issued for all parking violations.
