Stearns County Road 2 Construction to Begin in Cold Spring

COLD SPRING -- A big road construction project gets underway Monday in downtown Cold Spring.

Stearns County road crews will begin setting up construction signs, detour signs and making traffic light modifications Monday along County Road 2.

Starting Wednesday, County Road 2 will be closed between Highway 23 and Main Street while crews begin removing old pavement.

Work on the utility pipes will get underway the following Wednesday, May 25.

Detours will be in effect for the duration of the project. Only local traffic looking access businesses in that area will be allowed.
