St. Cloud’s Abe Lincoln Plaza Lit Up In Blue For ‘Law Enforcement Appreciation Day’

ST. CLOUD - The new Abe Lincoln Plaza in downtown St. Cloud was lit up in blue Monday night. The blue color on the side of the parking ramp was in honor of "Law Enforcement Appreciation Day" in Minnesota, and across the country.

The 35W bridge in Minneapolis, and the Governor's Residence in St. Paul were also lit up in blue.

Minnesota is home to more than 10,000 law enforcement officials. Minnesota was fortunate not to have lost a single officer in the line of duty in 2016, but our nation lost a total of 138.
