St. Cloud Police Arrest 30-Year-Old Man For Alleged Domestic Assault

ST. CLOUD -- The St. Cloud Police Department arrested a 30-year-old man for an alleged domestic assault early yesterday morning (Tuesday).

Police were called around 1:55 a.m. to the 1800 block of 15th Avenue South East. Darrell Dixon allegedly tried to choke a 28-year-old St. Cloud woman.

The victim told police she had to stab Dixon in the leg with a pocket knife to get away from him. Dixon was taken to St. Cloud Hospital and treated for his injury.

He was later transported to the Sherburne County Jail where he was held for court on charges of gross misdemeanor domestic assault.

The case is being reviewed by the County Attorney's Office for possible charges against the victim.
