ST. CLOUD - Hundreds of people gathered at Lake George to celebrate Pride Weekend.

Pride in the Park was just one of many events planned for St. Cloud's Pride Weekend festivities.

At the event guests were treated to a sneak peak of what they would see later at the Pride Drag Show later in the evening, great food, vendors and a lot of great music.

Jim Beck is a organizer of Pride Weekend. He says this event is a great opportunity for people just to be themselves.

"It's about inclusion. It is a place where people can come out and be themselves. It doesn't matter if they are gay, straight or whatever, it is for everybody."

Beck also says people get to be themselves because Pride Weekend is a judgement free zone for everyone.

"It is something to remind people that you should be accepting of anybody no matter who they are."

To date, the 2017 Pride Weekend has been the largest in terms of sponsorships. Other events on Pride Weekend include the Pride Drag Show, Sunday Brunch at DB Searles and a show at the Pioneer Place Theater.
