Souhan; NBA’s West Isn’t as Good as it Used to Be [PODCAST]

The Timberwovles improved to 9-8 Monday night after a win at Atlanta.  Star Tribune Sports Columnist Jim Souhan joined me on WJON today.  He thinks the Wolves could be a playoff team in part because the Western Conference just isn't as strong as it used to be.  He suggested that maybe Oklahoma City improves but teams like San Antonio and Sacramento may not be getting any better.

The Gopher football team hosts Wisconsin Saturday.  Jim thinks Tanner Morgan deserves a lot of credit for his development and that two of P.J. Fleck's top players were here when he arrived.

The Twins are bringing back the baby blue road uniforms.  Jim likes this idea and says the team could go after Josh Donaldson in free agency.
