FAIRHAVEN -- Police say a Jordan man is jailed after driving drunk and causing a crash near Fairhaven.

The incident happened around 5:20 Sunday night at the intersection of County Road 7 and County Road 146.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says 72-year-old Clayton Johannes was heading east on County Road 146 approaching a stop sign, entered the intersection and was hit by another vehicle heading south on County Raod 7.

The driver of the second vehicle, 58-year-old Kathryn Kleve of Howard Lake, was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities say when they made contact with Johannes, they noticed signs he had been drinking. He was arrested and taken to the Stearns County Jail where he awaits charges of Criminal Vehicular Operation resulting in an injury and Fourth Degree DWI.

The crash remains under investigation.
