ST. CLOUD -- It's not wolves howling tonight (Friday), it's Huskies. St. Cloud State University is trying to set a world record for the most people howling at the same time. The event begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Atwood Mall.

No record currently exists but in order for the Guinness Book of World Records to recognize SCSU's attempt they will need at least 250 people to participate.

Each person will be assigned a specific number and designated area they will stand during the attempt.

Howling must last for one full minute in order for it to count, only stopping to take breaths.

Participation is free and open to the public.

The University asks that you pre-register online although it's not required.
