The Huskies had a great showing with fifteen hits, including two home runs, two doubles and a triple. They put up four runs in the sixth, five in the seventh and three more in the eighth inning. This gave the Huskies pitcher staff a great deal of support. Ryan Duffy a 6’3” lefty from South St. Paul High School started on the mound. He threw 4 2/3 innings to earn the win. He gave up two hits, three runs, six walks and he recorded four strikeouts. Fabian Villegas a 6’5” righty from Shadow Ridge High School Arizona threw three innings in relief. He gave up four hits, four runs, two walks and he recorded four strikeouts. Eli Emerson a 6’0” righty from Rocori High School threw 1/3 of an inning, he recorded one strikeout.

The Huskies offense was led by Sam Riola a junior from Blaine High School went 3-for-4. He had a triple and a double for three RBI’s, he scored five runs, earned two walks and he had a pair of stolen bases. Drew Bulson a junior from Rocori High School had a big game, he went 3-for-5 with two home runs for two RBI’s. John Nett sophomore from Kimberly High School Wisconsin went 3-for-5, with a double, for two RBI’s, he earned a walk, scored three runs and he had a stolen base. Paul Steffensen a senior from Kenai Central High School Alaska went 1-for-3 with a home run for three RBI’s and he earned a walk. Tate Wallat a sophomore from Todd Beamer High School Washington went 2-for-5 for an RBI and he scored two runs. Max Gamm a senior from East Ridge High School went 1-for-3, he earned two walks, scored three runs and he had a stolen base. Tyler Schiller a sophomore from Hutchinson High School went 1-for-3 for three RBI’s and he earned a walk. Cameron Vollmer a junior from Hillcrest High School California went 1-for-3. Ethan Navratil a freshman from Albany High School earned two walks.

The Golden Bears starting pitcher Korey Dahlberg, was the pitcher of record. He threw 4 1/3 innings. He gave up five hits, five runs, issued four walks and he recorded one strikeout. The Golden Bears offense was led by Matt Pietsch, he went 1-for-4 with a home run for three RBI’s and he earned a walk. Jarod Wandersee went 1-for-2 with a double for an RBI, he earned two walks and he scored a pair of runs. Keith Brohmer went 1-for-4 with a double for an RBI and Chandler Ibach earned a walk and he scored a run. Carter Shock went 1-for-3 for an RBI and Braydon Roybal went 1-for-2, he earned three walks and he scored a run. Jack Young went 1-for-4 with a double, he earned a walk and he scored a pair of runs.
