Sartell Picks Process To Fill Vacant Council Seat
SARTELL -- New Sartell Mayor Joe Perske was sworn in as mayor at last night's council meeting. It meant there was also a vacancy created on the council that will need to be filled.
City Administrator Patti Gartland says they will have an open application process with the deadline Wednesday, January 19th.
Gartland says the council will review the applications, decide who they want to interview, conduct those interviews and then appoint the winner at their February 14th meeting.
Perske's seat is a two-year term.
Applications can be picked up at Sartell City Hall or on the city's website.
