SARTELL -- Sartell officials will consider the next steps in the Watab Park improvement project during Monday city council meeting.

During the meeting the council will be presented with visuals and cost estimates for a new park shelter.

The city hopes to keep the project in the $350,000 range. Sartell does have $125,000 in Park District 2 funds and could have an additional $25,000 coming to that fund later this year.

Along with the shelter, staff is also looking into grant applications to go towards pool improvements, a new poolhouse, new playground equipment.

No action will be taken, however the council is expected to provide staff direction on how to move forward with the project.
