Sartell Narrows List Of Council Candidates To Five

SARTELL -- The Sartell City Council Monday narrowed the field of applicants for a vacant council seat from eight down to five.

The five finalists looking to take over Mayor Joe Perske's seat are Robin Oehrlein, Patrick Jacobson-Schulte, Sandra Cordie, Mike Chisum and Joel Ohman.

They will each be interviewed for the post on Tuesday, February 1st for about 25 minutes.

Upon completion of the interviews, the council is expected to appoint the winner who will be responsible for filling the remaining two years of the term.
