COLD SPRING -- A ROCORI Middle schooler is in custody after being found with a gun in their locker.

At about 9 a.m. this morning, other students reported to the principal that they saw the student with the gun.

Witnesses say the student brandished the gun in hallway after being bumped by another student. It's not clear if the weapon was pointed at anyone.

The student was immediately taken into custody and searched.

Cold Spring Police Chief Phil Jones says the situation poses no further threat to the school, and is currently under investigation.
