Pierz Freedom Fest will be changing locations in 2025, with the concert moving from the Genola Ballfields to the Morrison County Fairgrounds in Little Falls. The move takes the mid-summer concert from 'just down the road' from Pierz to GEnola, to now roughly 13 miles down County Road 27 to the fairgrounds. On top of the show moving, the concert also announced another artist set to join Dylan Scott.

The music festival made both announcements on social media this morning.

Where is Pierz Freedom Fest Moving to?

Hello Pierz Freedom Fest Fans. We are excited to announce a new venue for Pierz Freedom Fest beginning in 2025. The Morrison County Fairgrounds has graciously agreed to become the new host site for our event!

The move to the Morrison County Fairgrounds allows us to accomplish our three major goals when considering new site options:

1) Improve the safety of our customers, workers, law enforcement, and those traveling past our event by moving our venue off of a major Highway

2) Enhance our customer experience by allowing us to bring all customer parking and camping to one site with our venue

3) Grow the event to meet our mission of raising funds for the Pierz Area Commercial Club, which benefits all businesses, residents, and area families long-term.

Although our site may be changing, what makes Pierz Freedom Fest so special will remain the same. The event is still sponsored by and will remain the main source of fundraising for the Pierz Area Commercial Club. Pierz Freedom Fest will remain operated by many volunteers from the PACC and funds generated will continue to support our local events, businesses, schools, and groups and organizations in need of funding. Every dollar we raise is either used to fund next year’s event or donated locally.

We will continue to support the Pierz Area business community and City of Pierz while planning and organizing our event each year. The Pierz Area Commercial Club is also excited to announce some of our plans for future projects to be funded by the PACC using proceeds raised over the years. More on that to come soon.

Located just 12 miles west of Pierz, on the Northeast edge of Little Falls, the Morrison County Fairgrounds offers a beautiful setting for Pierz Freedom Fest and enhanced amenities that our guests will enjoy. We plan to have an expanded camping area that will be on-site and within walking distance of the concert area. We have plans for an enhanced VIP experience that will truly have the VIP feel. Our general admission guests will also enjoy an expanded area to enjoy the concert with better flow and spacing for our customers.

One thing that we are truly excited about is the fact that the Morrison County Fairgrounds is a proud supporter and host to many local groups and organizations. Many of us have had the chance to visit the grounds for the annual county fair and other events that they host, and we now look forward to enjoying future years of Pierz Freedom Fest at their site!
