Pedestrian Struck, Killed in St. Paul

ST. PAUL -- Police say a woman was struck and killed by a vehicle while walking in St. Paul.

Authorities say the woman was killed just after 5 p.m. Thursday near an intersection in the city's Greater East Side neighborhood.

First responders found the woman lying in the street. She died at the scene.

The 35-year-old man who struck her was cooperating with police, who do not believe he was impaired.
