Norma Zoren 86-year-old resident of Little Falls, MN passed away peacefully at her home on November 9, 2019. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 15th at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls with Fr. Jimmy Joseph officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, November 14th from 5:00 – 8:00 at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service, Little Falls. Visitation will continue Friday morning from 9:45 – 11:00 at the church.

Norma was born on March 10, 1933 in Bagley, MN to the late Al and Mayme (Nelson) Theis. She was raised in Bagley and graduated from Bagley High School in 1950. She attended Minneapolis Business College and worked in Minneapolis for several years. She then moved to Little Falls where she worked in the office at Hennepin Paper Co., and in her later years at Earl LeMieur Busing, Towing and Ambulance. She was married to Donald Zoren on June 9, 1956 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Little Falls. They later joined Our Lady of Lourdes Parish where she volunteered in various ministries throughout the years. She was very active in Mission Circle. Norma was also an active member of the Little Falls VFW Auxiliary, volunteered at St. Gabriel’s Hospital and delivered Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed reading, bowling, playing cards, working crossword puzzles, watching movies and being with family and friends.

Norma is survived by children, Mary (Mark) Polasek of Sobieski, MN, Marlys (Harold) Dewor of Liederbach, Germany, Jim Zoren of Little Falls, Barb (Tom) Ernster of Fridley, MN and Sandy (Tim) Koenig of Randall, MN; grandchildren, Neil Polsek, Sarah, Rachel and Nathen Ernster and Emily Wesselman; step-grandchildren, Sarah and Megan Koenig; sisters, Sister Elizabeth Theis of St. Benedict’s Monastary, St. Joseph, MN, Lois (Chuck) Barnett of Columbia, SC, Helen (Jim) Lohmann of Maple Grove, MN and Jane Nixon of Ely, MN; brothers, Ken (Sharon) Theis of Centerville, MN, Jim (Mary Jo) Theis of Blaine, MN and Matt (Kim) Theis of Fisher, IL and many nieces and nephews.

Norma was preceded in death by husband, Don; parents, Al and Mayme Theis; brothers, Alvin and Vernon Theis and sisters, Lorraine Theis, Mary Ann Johnson and Melba Larson. She will be greatly missed by all.
