KIMBALL -- Through muddy terrain and over high walls, hundreds couldn't wait to get dirty in the Mudman Race.

This three mile course scales Powder Ridge, with different challenges awaiting around every corner.

The first heat started at 10:00 a.m. and the final heat at 2:00 p.m. Each heat waiting a half hour in between.

Bill Corcoran is the race director for Mudman. He says every year they try to make the race even better.

"We have walls, cargo nets, dirt mounds, mud pits, you name it."

This is the second year the race has been held at Powder Ridge in Kimball. Each year continuing to be a must run event.

"It's different than any other event that you are going to find in Central Minnesota," says Corcoran.

But this race doesn't just happen over night. Over a year of planning goes into making this event better than the year before.

"We've already started talking about what's going to be different next year," says Corcoran. "Things like what else we can bring that they are not expecting us to bring."

The next Mudman Race will take place in Fargo. For more information click Mudman.
