More Burglaries Happening Near SCSU

Two new burglaries happened near SCSU this past week . More electronics have been stolen.

The first one was reported yesterday just before noon.  St. Cloud Police were dispatched to 300 8th Avenue South for a burglary complaint. The residence say the burglary happened sometime between Ten O'clock Thursday night and Eight Friday Morning.

An unknown suspect had entered an open ground floor bedroom window and stole a laptop computer, an Apple iPod, and Abercrombie & Fitch cologne.

The second burglary happened Friday Morning. St. Cloud Police were dispatched to the 600 block of 8th Avenue South.

Residence say the burglary happened between 3am and Noon Friday when they say an unknown suspect entered the residence and removed a laptop computer and a backpack. Several occupants of the residence were home at the time.

Local Police are urging residents to remember to keep your doors and windows locked to help prevent a burglary.
