Minnesota Amateur Baseball Association Secretary-Treasurer John Goerge says, while this year's class has already been selected, now is the time to be thinking about nominating someone for next year.

It sometimes takes a little longer than people think, so it's a good winter project.  We ask that you get some letters from the community to support what they have done in the past.  A good biography with their playing history and what they've done in the community is also necessary.

The annual deadline to nominate someone is June 1st.

They'll also recognize this year's three state champions: Pierz in Class C, Delano in Class B, and Miesville in Class A.

The River's Edge Convention Center has been the home to the Minnesota Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame since it was created in 1992.

George says the museum pays tribute to players and teams from all over the state.

We honor all of our state champions.  We try to pay tribute to all of the different areas of the state, right now we have a disply for Central Minnesota featured.  We have some displays from Minnesotans who have made it to the major leagues.

Over 300 people are expected to attend.
