Medical Condition May Be Cause Of Deadly Crash In Waite Park

WAITE PARK - Waite Park police say a woman has died in a crash.

The incident happened in a parking lot in the area of 119 24th Avenue South at about 1:20 p.m. yesterday (Thursday).

Officers found an older woman unconscious and behind the wheel.  Attempts at CPR and a defibrillator were not successful.  Police say the driver may have suffered some type of medical condition that caused her to lose control.

The name of the driver has not been released yet.
