ST. CLOUD - An iconic building in downtown St. Cloud is for sale.

The owners of MC's Dugout are looking to sell the building.  However, the bar itself plans to stay at that location.  Any sale will be contingent on MC's being able to lease back its current space.

Kate Hanson with Granite City Real Estate says the building built in 1889 has just over 14,490 square feet.  It retains its original three-story red-pressed brick and granite facade.

The building is the former First National Bank, once St. Cloud's largest bank.

The sale price is $950,000, with a lease rate of $12 to $15 per square foot.

HMA Architects is on the second floor. There are several other smaller tenants that also occupy the building on the third floor.

There's just over 4,800 square feet of available space on the main floor.

Hanson says she "doesn't see the building staying on the market very long".  She says, "it's a rare opportunity to own a historic building in downtown St. Cloud".

MC's Dugout has been in the lower level of the building since 1990.
