ST. CLOUD - It's official, last month was the warmest March ever in St. Cloud.  The St. Cloud State University Weather Summary says the average temperature was 43.9 degrees -- 14.5 degrees above average.  It breaks the old record warm March of 1910 by nearly one degree.

There were only four days in the whole month that were colder than average.  We also set 24 daily record temperatures.

Meanwhile, the six months of the cold season from October through March also rank as the warmest ever in St. Cloud -- by far.  The average temperature over the past six months was just over 33 degrees, nearly four degrees warmer than the previous records set in 1999-2000 and 2001-2002.
