Man Survives Crash With Semi Truck

DASSEL -- A man survived an early morning crash with a semi truck in Meeker County.

The State Patrol says 21-year-old Jaden Ritz of Minneapolis was driving his Ford Escape west on Highway 12 near Dassel when he crossed the center line and struck the eastbound tractor-trailer.

The crash happened shortly after 1:30 a.m. Wednesday. The patrol says road conditions were dry at the time of the crash.

Ritz was taken to the Hennepin County Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the semi was not hurt.
