Man Hurt After Swerving to Avoid Hitting Deer

LITTLE FALLS -- A 19-year-old man was hurt after swerving to miss a deer and crashing his vehicle.

The Morrison County Sheriff's Office says Nicholas Weidenbach was heading east on Cable Road near Little Falls at approximately 2:40 a.m. Saturday when the crash happened.

Sheriff's officials say Weidenbach swerved to miss the deer, left the roadway, entered the ditch and struck a road sign.

Weidenbach went to the hospital in a private vehicle. His condition is unknown and no other information is currently available.
