Long Time Tech High School Science Teacher Dies

ST. CLOUD -- A longtime teacher at Tech High School in St. Cloud died Friday according to a release from District 742.

Harel Jay Sharp, died at the school of an apparent medical condition. first responders were called to the scene and attempted lifesaving measures.

In a statement, Superintendent Willie Jett says:

"It is a sad day for the district and especially for the Tech family, we send our thoughts and prayers to Jay's family."

Sharp had taught science in the district since 1998. He also coached several sports. The exact cause of his death is unknown at this time.
