Little Falls Cemetery Recognized Among The Nation’s Finest
Memorial Day is this Monday. It is the official kick-off to summer, but we must remember what this day is all about. Memorial Day was established to remember those who have died for our country while fighting for freedom. Be sure to take a moment sometime this long weekend to reflect on the sacrifices made by our troops to keep us in the Land of the Free. If you are looking for a place to pause and reflect, Central Minnesota is home to one of the country's most revered sites to visit.
Surrounded by rolling hills and forests
The Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls was recognized as the 32nd most revered site in America if you are looking to reflect on Memorial Day weekend, or just want to honor those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
The sites, which were determined by a survey done by Choice Mutual, a life insurance company, put the Little Falls cemetery at 32 on their list. But that wasn't the only Minnesota cemetery to make the list.

Endless rows of white headstones stretch in all directions
The other Minnesota cemetery to make the list of most revered sites in the US is Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. Fort Snelling is described as being "one of the most iconic national cemeteries in the Midwest."
The most revered site in the US, according to the survey, was Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia, followed by Gettysburg National Cemetery in Pennsylvania, and at number three, it was the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Illinois.
