Judge Sets Bail at $1,000,000 For Kearney

ST. CLOUD -- A Stearns County judge has set bail for a St. Cloud woman accused of murdering her father at $1,000,000.

Thirty-eight-year-old Lisa Kearney has been charged with Second Degree Murder in the death of her father, 66-year-old Jeffrey Schilling.

She lived with her father at his home 335 21st Avenue North in St. Cloud.

The St. Cloud woman was extradited from Louisville, Kentucky Wednesday. She has been jailed in Louisville since her arrest January 5th.

Kearney is accused of killing her father on either January 1st or 2nd in St. Cloud. Police officers were called on a welfare check on January 4th and found Schilling dead on a couch in his home. He died from head injuries, and a short handled maul was found near his body.

Kearney's next court date has not yet been set.
