This Minnesota DJ Has Found Country Music’s Most Incredible Lookalike
This weekend, I was going through some old record albums with my aunt when one album cover stopped me in my tracks, and I couldn't stop staring.
Some people have celebrity lookalikes. Others have long lost twins. But every once in a while you see two people who look so much alike, you almost have to do a double take.

'DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH'
This weekend, I was digging through some old record albums with my aunt when one cover completely stopped me in my tracks. The album I was looking at was called "Diamond in the Rough' and the artist was Jessi Colter. I hate to admit this, but my first thought wasn't about her music. It was, "Wait a minute...that's Ella Langley!"
Seriously. I couldn't believe what I was looking at. The dark hair. The bangs. Those piercing eyes. Even the expression on her face. If someone had told me the photo was Ella dressed up in vintage clothes, I probably would have believed them.
I've seen celebrity lookalikes before, but this one might be the most uncanny I've ever come across.

WHO WAS JESSI COLTER?
Jessi Colter was much more than just a familiar face. I remembered her name, but just didn't recall how much those two artists look alike.
Many people remember her as the wife of outlaw country legend Waylon Jennings, but she earned her place in country music all on her own. Jessi was a singer, songwriter and pianist at a time when women had to fight even harder to get noticed in Nashville.
MEET MIRRIAM JOHNSON
Born Mirriam Johnson, Jessi became one of the defining voices of the Outlaw Country movement. Her biggest hit, "I'm Not Lisa," wasn't simply a song she recorded. She wrote it herself, played piano on the track and sang it with so much emotion that it became one of the biggest songs of 1975. It reached No. 1 on the country charts and even crossed over to the pop charts, introducing millions of listeners to her incredible talent.
Jessi also recorded with Waylon Jennings and was part of the landmark album "Wanted! The Outlaws," the first country album ever certified platinum. I remember looking at that cover as a child, thinking how cool it was. Even surrounded by country music giants, Jessi never got lost in the crowd. She stood on her own.
Now fast forward about 50 years.

ELLA LANGLEY IS WINNING FANS EVERYWHERE
Ella Langley is making country music history in her own way.
The Alabama native has exploded onto the country music scene with hit songs, award wins and record-breaking success. Her duet with Riley Green, "You Look Like You Love Me," made her a household name, and she's continued proving she's much more than just country music's newest star. She's an accomplished songwriter with an unmistakable style that's winning over fans everywhere.
WAS ELLA LANGLEY INSPIRED BY JESSI COLTER?
Has Ella Langley ever said Jessi Colter inspired her? As far as I can find, I've found comflicting messages on this, so I'm not sure.
Ella has talked about artists like Stevie Nicks, Willie Nelson, and Miranda Lambert as influences.
Maybe that's what makes this so fascinating.
It's not that Ella is trying to look like Jessi. It's that two women, separated by half a century, somehow ended up looking remarkably alike while both carving out successful careers in country music.

WHAT DO YOU THINK?
Is this the greatest celebrity resemblance in country music history, or have you seen one that's even closer? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
