Highway 55 Construction Project Wrapping Up

MAPLE LAKE -- A major highway construction project in central Minnesota will open to traffic Thursday afternoon.

Crews will begin moving barricades and signs on Highway 55 between Maple Lake and Buffalo. It's the final segment of the $11.2-million project to be completed.

The stretch of 12 miles of Highway 55 had been closed to traffic since April 29th.
