FATAL SEMI CRASH -- Benton County authorities say there wasn't enough evidence to charge an Owatonna semi-truck driver with felony criminal vehicular homicide. James Cockran rear-ended a taxi cab in St. Cloud, killing two people. St. Cloud city officials COULD consider lesser charges.
NEW STEARNS SHERIFF -- There's a new sheriff in town -- and his name is Don Gudmundson, a former sheriff in Dakota County. One of his first jobs -- picking a chief deputy. Previous chief deputy Bruce Bechtold resigned last week when he didn't get the Sheriff's job.
CHIPOTLE DATA BREACH -- If you used a credit or debit card at Chipotle this spring, keep a close eye on your account. Chipotle says customers at more than 60 of its Minnesota restaurants -- including in St. Cloud -- are at risk of possible fraud. Malicious software may have mined your credit card data.
EASTMAN RENOVATIONS -- Now that the Governor's signed the bonding bill, renovations can begin on St. Cloud State's Eastman Hall. The 18-and-a-half-million dollar renovation will give the School of Health and Human Services a new home sometime in the fall of 2018.
CLEARWATER/CLEAR LAKE UTILITY BILLS -- The legislature's approved 300-thousand dollars to upgrade the Clearwater and Clear Lake Wastewater Treatment Facility. The upgrades should help lower the higher water and sewer bills residents have been paying for years.
