The Great Theater is making a ruckus this month. They're staging "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day." It's a musical version of the popular kids' book. Chris Brown is the director, and he says the Great Theater chose it due to popular demand.

Brown says it took about three weeks of rehearsals with the cast of 6 professional actors to get the show ready. They'll stage a total of 23 shows, though most of those will be private performances for school groups. The public debut is tonight, (Friday)7pm at the Humphrey Theater at St John's, with shows to follow tomorrow (Saturday) at 1:00 p.m and 4:00 p.m. and Sunday at 2:00 p.m. They'll perform at the same times next weekend.
