ST. CLOUD - The Great River Regional Library is making it easier for teachers to use their resources.

This school year teachers can now use the Educator Request Form on the Great River Library website.  They can request subject-specific library materials by specifying the grade level they are teaching, the information they need, how the information will be used, and the sources they've already checked.

After getting the request, library staff will pull together a selection of books from across the system.  The teacher can then pick-up the materials at any of the library's 32 locations.

The service is available to homeschoolers as well as classroom teachers.

Library officials say the main advantage of using the webform is the convenience and speed.  They say the librarians are knowledgeable about their collection and can find good materials more quickly.
