ST. CLOUD -- Everything from paddle boat rides to face painting kept families busy today (Saturday) at this year's 22nd Annual Celebration of Fatherhood.

The event featured games, craft projects, a story walk, an obstacle course, food, music and bubbles.

Families and kids ages 0-8 enjoyed the free event at Lake George.

Patti McGreevy outreach facilitator for district 742 says she's been coming to the Celebration of Fatherhood for 20 years.

"It's an awesome event, there's such joy in the eyes of the children that come, the dads the families the grandmas and grandpas are all having a great time," says McGreevy.

Community donations and volunteers help make the event possible.

"All the stations are manned by volunteers in the community, we serve food and get donations for food," says McGreevy.

The celebration is intended for fathers but really everyone in the family can join in on the fun.
