County Road 2 Project in Cold Spring Nears Completion

COLD SPRING -- A detour in downtown Cold Spring will shift to 1st Street South next week. Crews will be removing the temporary pavement at the intersection of County Road 2 and Main Street starting Monday, prompting the move.

The new detour will remain in place for about a week until County Road 2 re-opens to traffic Friday, October 14th.

The Stearns County Highway Department says the final paving surface on County Road 2 between Highway 23 and 2nd Street North will be put down next spring.
