Cathedral Does Well In Section Track and Field Meet

Nick Golebiowski won the Section 5A title in both the 1,600 and 3,200 meters yesterday at St. John's - advancing to the next weekend's State Meet in both events.  Both 4 x 800 meter relay teams finished second - advancing to the state meet.  For the Girls - Alyssa Unger, Rachel Eickhoff, Greta Danielson and Brigid Brew.  For the Boys - Cole Wintheiser, Hunter Peterson, Beau Gerding and Thomas Friebe.  The State Meet is next Friday and Saturday at Hamline University - the alma mater of Jon Voss and Glenda Prom, to name just a few.
