Minnesota Wild General Manager Bill Guerin was active on the 2nd and final day of the NHL draft Wednesday. He traded Luke Kunin to Nashville for veteran Chris Bonino and and 2nd round draft pick. Guerin later traded his 6th and 7th round picks for a 5th round choice.

The Minnesota Wild selected center Marco Rossi with the 9th overall pick in the NHL entry draft Tuesday night. Star Tribune Sports Columnist Jim Souhan joined me on WJON today. He says Rossi despite being 19 could contribute right away and could be the team's 3rd line center if not better.

Minnesota Wild General Manager Bill Guerin traded both Ryan Donato and Devan Dubnyk to the San Jose Sharks Monday. Star Tribune Sports Columnist Jim Souhan joined me on WJON today. He says Guerin could be positioning himself to make a big move to sign or trade for a veteran goaltender or center or both.

Donato, 24, charted 18 goals and 21 assists in 84 games with the Wild over parts of two seasons.
