Broadside Crash on Highway 10 Sends Two to the Hospital

RICE -- A Clear Lake couple was hurt after a two vehicle crash on Highway 10 Friday afternoon.

The State Patrol says 63-year-old Gary Persell and 67-year-old Sylvia Persell were taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The patrol says the Persell's were heading north on Highway 10 at about 3:40 p.m. when 65-year-old Richard Seifert of New Ulm pulled out in front of their car at 110th Street Northwest near Rice.

Persell's car struck Seifert's car broadside.

Seifert was not hurt.
